When nature grows stronger, so do communities.
Nurturing nature and green space in urban areas improves health and wellbeing, brings communities together, and helps lessen the effects of climate change. This one-day conference for people from voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations will explore the vital role that nature can play in building happier, healthier and more connected urban communities.
For the past 2 years, the Nature Neighbourhoods partnership has been supporting community and voluntary groups to take meaningful action for people, nature and climate, working together to create greener neighbourhoods and end unequal access to nature.
Join us to hear from Nature Neighbourhoods projects and others about community-led greening, learn how to strengthen your impact through inspirational speakers and case studies, and start to plan your next steps through practical workshops and resources.
You’ll also have the chance to network and collaborate with others, sharing knowledge and experience with your peers. And there’ll be the chance to put forward your ideas for how we can build on Nature Neighbourhoods across the UK and over the next decade, through the Nature Towns and Cities programme. Take a look at the agenda and book your place now. Space is limited so please only book one place per organisation.
