Get involved
We can achieve ambitious, long-lasting change in our towns and cities by working together.
Nature Towns and Cities is an opportunity to join a network of like minded individuals, teams and organisations delivering change. Whether connecting with peers across the UK or developing new partnerships locally, here’s some ways to get involved:
Our events cover a wide range of topics and feature places leading change, people developing new approaches and proven solutions you can adapt for your own town or city.
Ranging from small workshops to large online conferences, the events will always be a chance to come together with others working towards similar goals.
Build knowledge and spark new ideas with our library of resources, that showcase tried and tested solutions and best practice from across the UK, including case studies, step-by-step guides, templates and tools.
We’ll support you to become an accredited Nature Town, City or Borough. Our accreditation scheme recognises and rewards local authorities that are working with communities and other partners to plan and deliver urban landscape-scale change. Join drop-in surgeries, workshops, training and events to help you on your way.

Our shared values
The power of Nature Towns and Cities will be in how we build it together, across your urban places, across sectors and across the UK – making connections and breaking down silos. We’re looking to the people and places who take part to help us shape the future of this work. To support this, we’ve co-created a set of shared values to guide the way we all work together.
