Event description

Nature is for everyone, yet how we access and experience it varies from person to person.

Hear from three community leaders, representing diverse perspectives and lived experiences, on how they have used nature and green space as powerful tools for connection, equity and cohesion in their communities.

This session will be chaired by Aneela McKenna, founder of Mor Diversity. The case studies will bring to life the tools and techniques discussed in our resource, published earlier this year with Aneela.

Speakers:

  • Sara Javid, Chair of the British Mountaineering Council Specialist Hillwalking committee, and Founder of Women Forward
  • Joss McAuley, freelance Therapeutic Forest School leader, and Co-founder of Peace of Green CIC
  • Pete Tatham, Project Director, Hyde Park Source.
